Lux Custom Homes is based in Galveston, Texas and offers a small variety of services while primarily building custom homes across the island.
Through communication, attention to detail and dedication, we strive to stand out and provide our clients with a carefully crafted home to stand the test of time. Our primary focus is customization. We’ll work with you step by step through the building process to tailor your home to your desired style. This allows us to build truly One-of-a-kind homes.
Custom Home Building
Whether you have just decided to build a custom home and have no idea where to begin, or you already have your custom floor plans drafted, we are here to assist you through the entire process. Building a new home can feel intimidating and stressful, but with the right team of professionals it doesn’t have to be. Our goal is to make your building experience smooth and enjoyable and to help you create your dream home.
Remodeling + Additions
Following a consultation, we’ll work with you to begin setting your ideas in place and guide you though the construction process from design development to completion. Like new construction, we will coordinate and manage all work with the same efforts and attention to provide you with a top quality and unique renovation.
Historical Renovation
Galveston is full of history and Victorian charm and there’s nothing more satisfying than bringing a diamond in the rough back to life. We’ll work as a team with your Architect or Designer and the Historical Foundation to bring you an exceptional renovation that will continue carrying history though the test of time.
Interior Design
Our in house Designer is available to work with you on any type of project and will develop a scope of work based on your personal design needs. This may include a minimal amount of work to simply guide you through the selection process, or may be a more in-depth scope to assist you in designing your home from every aspect. No matter what your design needs may be, we will provide you with attentive guidance to create an original and thoughtfully designed space.

Meet Our Team
John Paul Listowski
Owner: John Paul was born and raised in Galveston and earned his degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University. He is actively involved in the community as he serves on the City Council and has served on several boards and commissions though the years. He has 16 + years of professional experience in Galveston and manages each project throughout the construction process.
Brittany Burnett
Selection Specialist: Brittany moved to Galveston after earning a B.F.A. in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Austin. She has 5 years of experience with custom home building on the island and previously designed model homes for a builder in the Houston area. Brittany works closely with each client from beginning to end to facilitate a smooth and structured design and selection process.
Peggy Listowski
Accounts Manager: Peggy has been working along side John Paul for 16 years and knows the books inside and out. She manages all important bookkeeping, A/P, and A/R responsibilities in the office. She keeps all accounts organized and up to date, which allows us to better serve our clients and subcontractors in the building process.
